Plug loads is a company that sells emerging and new energy conservation products. We currently are manufactures representatives for three companies with unique cost effective (typically 1-3 year break-even) energy conservation solutions.
These products provide solutions for:
- thermal stratification in high bay buildings,
- electronically commutated (EC) motors for fractional horsepower applications typical of evaporator fans in walk-in coolers and freezers,
- improved visual acuity with high scoptic T8's and energy savings in manufacturing and office environments
- flue gas heat recovery products with commercial hot water heaters
- software for the management of power conservation profiles of 1000's of PCs
Plugloads was founded in 2003 by Ryan S. Wood after spending ten years in the energy conservation field where he specialized in business development, new product development, and major account sales for Bayview Technology Group, Inc. He is a past board member of the Association of Energy Engineers.
